In the plastic packaging industry, the air-tightness (pinhole) test is one of the most critical tests for product quality and consumer safety. Especially in PET and HDPE bottles filled with food, pharmaceutical and chemical products, micro-cracks, pinholes or poor welds can lead to product spoilage and consumer complaints.

AHF İnovasyon's PSTC series pinhole testers inflate the bottle to a specific pressure using air-pressure injection, then measure the pressure drop with precise sensors. When a pressure loss above the set threshold is detected, the device automatically triggers an alarm and removes the faulty bottle from the production line.

The manual model (PSTC01) has a simple structure where the operator places the bottle and reads the result from the digital display, while the automatic model (PSTC02) is a fully automatic system that takes the bottle from the conveyor, tests it and then ejects it. Both models are suitable for production line integration and can easily be adapted to different bottle sizes with replaceable adapters.

Test duration ranges from 3–8 seconds depending on bottle volume and test pressure. This speed enables 100% quality control even on high-capacity filling lines. The device is increasingly preferred by plastic bottle manufacturers and filling facilities in Turkey.
