The powder mixer is fundamental equipment used in industrial production to homogeneously combine multiple dry powder or granular raw materials. AHF İnovasyon Makine's horizontal ribbon mixer models, thanks to their dual ribbon blade design, provide simultaneous material movement both inward and outward; this achieves a homogeneous mixture in a short time (typically 3–8 minutes).
The most common applications of this mixer are blending PE, PP, PVC and ABS granules with masterbatch in the plastics industry; blending nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium-based powder fertilizers in the fertilizer industry; and combining different spices and additives in the spice and food industry.
The tank body is manufactured from 304 or 316L grade stainless steel; for food and pharmaceutical industry applications, the inner surfaces are smoothed by electrolytic polishing. The blade shaft is made of high-quality cast or forged steel, and the mechanical seal components are positioned for easy access when greasing is required.
Motor power ranges from 1.5 kW to 30 kW depending on capacity and the density of the material being mixed. In addition to the standard 380V/50Hz three-phase power connection, 220V or custom frequency options are also available upon customer request. The frequency inverter allows rotation speed to be optimized according to the production process; this is especially critical when mixing fragile granules or foam-prone powders.
Bottom conical lid or pneumatic valve options are available for the discharge system. A large access door (500×400 mm or larger) is provided as standard for easy cleaning. The optional heating-jacket variant is suitable for applications requiring the material to be kept at a specific temperature.
All of AHF's powder mixers undergo empty and loaded operation tests before delivery. A CE certificate, user manual and spare parts list are delivered with every machine.
